The Kansas Geographic Alliance is itself funded by three organizations. These include Fort Hays State University,Kansas State Department of Education and National Geographic Society.
The Kansas Geographic Alliance is one of the renowned associations. It helps in the development of geographic studies and encourages people to know more about geography. The various programs that it funds have ample scope of participation for various people. There are various programs for the children which are extremely interesting and children are encouraged to participate in these programs.
Various meetings and conferences are organized by Kansas Geographic Alliance. These meetings and conferences include Kansas Association of Mappers Conference, Kansas Geographic Alliance fall Conference, Complexity in Geomorphology, Annual Meeting of AAG Great Plains/ Rocky Mountain Division, Applied Geography Conference, and National Council for Geographic Education Annual Meeting.
The various meetings and programs as well as conferences organized by Kansas Geographic Alliance have made this organization extremely popular among the people of Kansas and also of USA.
