The Kansas Historical Society has a limited collection of out-of-state newspapers. Kansas Newspapers include about 80 black owned and operated newspapers. They are available at the Center for Historical Research. Some are also available on microfilm. The Civilian Conservation Corps is a nwly designed program to provide employment opportunities for young men and is quite active in Kansas since 1930. The Kansas Labor Newspapers is a bibliography of labor union and labor friendly newspapers published in Kansas.
There is also a separate section of Kansas Newspapers called the Kansas Populist Newspapers that is a bibliography of the People's party or Populist newspapers published in Kansas. There is also socialist section of Kansas Newspapers that lists the socialist and socialist party newspapers published in Kansas. The documents are by no means meant to b comprehensive or authoritative. The newspaper simply lists the socialist party. The territorial Kansas Newspapers are published between September 1854 and January 1861.
